Just been for a drive in a UK RS6....all i can say is......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Not neck brakingly quick (i think cos its such a big car) but boy does it get to 100mph quick.

Move over Mr Porsche.

mmmm yes - Autocar have tested both. A Porsche 996 gets to 100 in just over 10 secs & the RS6 takes a bit longer than that (though not much)
Maybe you meant move over Porsche Boxster

Hmmm - factor in the Stage 1 upgrade and then it becomes very nasty. 510 bhp, 690 nm torque. Allows 0.60 in 4.1 and 0 - 100 under 10. With 4 mates and your labrador in the back.

Got mine on Monday - unbelieveable.

That is absolutely gorgeous.....

On the subject of mad family motors, did anyone see the Merc E V12 on the Brabus stand at Goodwood - 6l (IIRC) V12 from the S Class with 2 big fat turbos, something like 650 bhp and 750 lb/ft, 0-120 in 12 secs and LIMITED top speed of 212!!). Oh, and the one on the stand was £275,000.

Upgrade is being done by Audi (ABT) - will schedule once I have done 1000 miles and got bored of the 460 bhp

Almost your best yet This one however will test out your ability to handle depreciation later this year. How do you like it compared to the RS4 ? Missano does look superb. Not in the least bit jealous.

Anyone had a look at Dahlback racings website ??

They do loads of mental power upgrades for Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat etc...

VERY pricey though.

VERY pricey though.
That's not likely to bother someone with 60K to spend on a car, though...

I keep looking at it and thinking "that is such a cool car". In fact, the name "car" almost demeans it.

RS6 munches every 911 this side of a turbo or GT3, be under no illusions! That is one sexy sexy car Rodney!

Local audi dealers got an avant in midnight blue, might have to have a nosey on down there

Anyone know how it compares to my V8 M5?
