I understand that these are imports only and therefore service history is gonna be pretty scarce, should that put me off??!

Can anyone offer me any advice about these cars about reliability, cost of running etc etc??

All help and advice is much appreciated!

Wink

rear wheel drive the gts's are. gtr's are four wheel drive. that's why you may find thet can be quite a bit cheaper that the gtr's of the same year.

I've imported a couple.

Quite quick, decent mpg froma 6 pot 2.5, only 1 turbo.

Never had a problem with them, some look good some don't. You can pick them up for about 5-6k for a good early example (93).

If you only want a trackday car get an R32 GTR.Can pick these up for £9000 strip them out and up the power a bit and it will go like stink....
If you buy a GTS you will always be thinking I should have got a gtr...Well that is my opinion that is why I drive an R33GTR
Look on www.gtr.com and you will find much more advice and even some for sale..

Yep, ditto the Colonel!

Get a GTR - Sumo Power have a couple for sale I think - have a look here http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/sh...threadid=11317

Maybe the £9.5k one would be best if you can run to it as it already has the track mods!

Stage one GTR's have 360-400bhp and will fly round the track, plus on the R32 you can turn them RWD by pulling a fuse
