Mates got one. Never gone wrong, goes well enough and looks ok with the Nissan option bodykit.

Yeah used to have an S reg black GTi first new car I bought myself.
Pretty quick for a 2.0 litre, felt much faster than the quoted 140 bhp, If get one fit K&N induction kit on sounds so much better. Great handling and when add slightly bigger tyres than the standard 15" looks a lot better as well. Definately go for one with Nissan body kit. Never went wrong started first time every time. Only time went to garage was for service / accident damage.

Have a look at here

Fantastic cars for the price, we're on our second, interiors are a bit plasticky but we're all used to that anyway
Only problem is the rear strut brace, it limits the load carrying ability somewhat.
Basically, they do exactly what they say on the tin, and the service intervals are 12K or every 12 months IIRC.
I've got quite a few pics of mine, can mail them if they'd be helpful.
Cheers
Dave

Had one too. Good going little hot hatch, well above average. Handled pretty good too but the power was a little too peaky for my liking but I guess thats 140bhp from 2L for you.

Lots of room inside as well. Interior was reasonable and most have A/C and all the other options as std.
