Anyone know of any reasonable mods he can do to it. or where he can find details ??

It has a cat'd exhaust ...will a straight thru give much power gain?

Cheers

In which case, sell it & spend the extra getting a larger engined 3 series.

Wink

I had one of these a few years ago, purely because it was more economical and insurance friendly than the 6 cylinder cars.

I presume as it is an "R" reg it has the M44 16 valve engine?

If so:-
Fit a quality enhaust system - Sebring for example and a decent induction kit, these will give a much crisper throttle response.

After that you are taling big money (supercharger etc etc).

Speak to Autovogue on 01785 220101 in Stafford as they are BMW specialists and will guide you.
