IMHO, "Scoobys" are awful, ppl rave on about a car that sure is fast but looks like a shopping trolley, no style, full of plastic and sounds like its misfiring! More to the point anything dubbed "Scooby" by those who hold it dear.... need I say more?

LOL!! If I had just paid over £30k for a car which has trouble beating MX5's and 172s at a third of the cost I would be slightly jealous of Scoobies! Only the other day I took down a TT and it only took me two gears!!

That video is top drawer & i can't understand why they are upset?
I thought david hasselhoff would be their ideal gay icon.

Anyway where can i get mods like these for my hairdresser eating shopping trolley......Cupholder, DG TT Keyring, Tax Holder, Bootliner

Question

Out of interest, whats the "off road suspension" that the one owner has listed for his car details...is that for when he loses it in the corners? ;-)

Agree with you Dan , there's no way I would have a subaru parked outside my salon. there the kind of vehicle you find in a supermarket, next to the trolleys.

There's another on there listing 'cupholders' in the list of modifications!

Don't get me wrong the TT is a nice car but I ain't got £30K to spend and then add another few quid on that to get a cupholder.

It took me 4 gears to beat a 172 cup and my car is hardly slow so you might want to rethink you philosopy (sp?) a litte

But..the Impreza came with *plastic* cupholders. For TT ladies it has to be a brushed aluminium TT embossed logo cupholder worth a 100 pounds.
After all it has to match the other useless "aluminium" parts in the cockpit.

Is there really such a lack of parts avalible for the TT that they have to include all that 'tat??

Even my car, in its mild state of tuning has a list a bit bigger then that!!

MY93, Forged STi pistons, Strengthend rods/crank, uprated oil pump, front entry turbo, Flowed head, STi 3 cams, STi Intercooler + water mist, HKS filter, De-cat open neck downpipe, Full stainless exhaust, scoobyECU, League 099 18's, High level rear spoiler, 6x4 Stainless tailpipe, Sony radio/tape/multiCD stereo, kenwood 8" bass tube, Various gauges, TWIN cupholder, roof mounted grab handles, bucket seats, speedo and a steering wheel!!!

forgot to mention my passenger side grab handle (right side over here) had a hook on it to hang a suit, jacket, shirt or whatever...and came standard...downside is that it is made of plastic and i took it off anyway....

Realizing that this might be a sought after item, I am willing to sell it for 50 Euro (about 30 pounds??).
Email me if interested....could also fit a TT eventually

OK, this will start a flame......

I actually like the TT.....

It is a good looking car, OK it is not as quick as a scooby, but it is quicker than most other motors on the road (at least the turbo one is)....

So stop knocking it

And I would love to have the one that was in Evo a couple of months ago....... (you know the twin-engine one)

shadow, they are nice cars, but there not a sports car, not in the slightest. They are made on looks and dont seem to have any strong links into any kind of motor sport (the odd series maybe). Great for posing, but the owners 'tend' to put across the same image as BMW drivers are reknown for, thats the 'i paid more so my car must be better' image...

like i said, tasty looking little motors, but for drivers appeal give me a scooby any day!!!
