Just spent the whole day driving a Volvo S60R demo and was very, very impressed.

This is a seriously quick and well set up motor.

Spec includes:- 4 wheel drive, brembo's, 300bph, 5.7sec 0-60

The Volvo is not competing for the same market as the Impreza. The Impreza has the rawness of its rallying heritage, whereas the Volvo has its reputation built on their safety. The is also quite a price difference.

The reason for the post -

Be careful when trying to burn up the pipe smoking, Grandad sitting in the lane next to you. He might just be in an S60R.

BTW, my own car is an Sti V4.

Reckon the police will be using these(if not already).

But I won't be... I'd want more than it offers in terms of style and pace for the money.
