Question

why?

no, really, why?

will it make it faster? will it make it easier to pull chicks with it? will it look more cool in da hood?

errmmmm, nope, it'll still be a Honda

Gordo,

They weight considerably less than a steel bonnet. Also due to this they can aid the handling of the car........should be slightly quicker as well

Thumbs up

hmm - and maybe it'll get pictured in Max Power, eh?

stop dicking with pointless mods and save the money towards a better motor instead.

oh my gordo...you are in a little bit of a foul mood today!!??...it was just a question..you may be wondering as to why i was asking it...and why it was posted on the scoobynet BBS and not on the Honda BBS..we are a caring lot..i used to be one of you(Impreza owner 3 to be precise!)..so i thought i would ask my friends as to whether or not any help could be obtained..
go faster did you say..no its fast enough

cannot be bothered to go through all the bits on it...

simple enough question to ask...

sorry, i'm out of order - you're right, I'm grumpy today.

Blowdog is probably a good place to start (check out his website) a he has carbon bonnets on some of his toys, from memory.

I still think you should get something else as the marginal benefits to be had from fitting a carbon bonnet don't justify the cost. hey what do I know - I'll shut up!

I bet people who don't paint their carbon fibre bonnets are the same people who buy "designer" clothes and make sure everyone sees the label.

I know someone who *might* be able to do a custom one to order for reasonable cash - he did a carbon bonnet for a nissan 200 with some success (taking a mould off the original). Can't guarantee that he'll be able to do it, or when, or how much, but if you're interested mail me per profile and I can put you in touch with him.
