Anyone else thinking of doing this? Anyone recommend a VW dealer on the Continent or trustworthy Import Broker?

I was holding out for the new Legacy but I gather it won't be arriving in Turbo guise for a long while yet. Don't think the H6 will cut it for me and I'm not sure how I feel about

My shortlist of new cars is now down to 3, very different motors with which to replace my MY00 Impreza Turbo..

VW Toureg - the "sensible" family option.
PPP'd WRX Wagon with a few £'s to tart it up - the fun option.
New Merc E Class Estate Diesel - the even more sensible option..but probably too pricey once it's specced up, even if I can import one at a good deal.

Any uother suggestions up to £30K?

Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Avant??

Audi A4 2.5 TDi Quattro Avant??

Sorry, dont have any contacts on the Continent, but for Import Brokers you can check out the back of Top Gear Magazine for a few contacts...

Cheers,

Thanks for that.

I love the 330d touring (especially in sport guise) but think it's a bit small for the money.. plus theres just too many of them around.

Like the A4 Avants too..especially with the bodykit you can get as an now. Would dearly love an S4 Avant but it's just too pricey for me.

Thanks Matt

Needs to be an estate or hatch really these days. I'm angling for an Evo 8 I've got no chance of getting the missus on board with that idea. I liked the Accord Sportwagon but wish there was a Type R version. The Alfa wagon is just too small really..GTA makes a lovely noise though!
