Did the same a while back...
There are two UK based sites -
www.gtr.co.uk
and
www.skylineowners.com
Personally having bought a GTR I'd never go back a Scooby!

At one time or another I have owned most of the pretty fast cars ( 3 911's some years back, Mit. EVO 5, Subaru, M3 Evo, S3 (modified) and I am now back to the real love of my life : a 993 Carrera 4.
However until I got this car I had an R34 V Spec Skyline which was tastefully tuned to 420BHP. NOTHING comes close to the sheer adrenaline rush from one of those beasts. I only got rid of it ( to a very good friend, who pleaded for me to sell it to him) because it was so tempting to keep spending more and more cash tuning it towards 500, 550 and 600+ bhp.
My 993 literally feels very pedestrian in every speed range against the R34 which was also an extremely reliable everday car.
Buy from someone on the GTR website or a specialist dealer like Prospec.
