I know what I said about this car not so long ago relating to how it may not be appropriate for your other half if she has a heavy right foot and limited driving experience...
... but guess what we are considering as a second car for my other half's use... thats right, MX5..
There have been a few subtle improvements to the chasis since the new shape was first release in '98 (it was '98 wasn't it, S/T reg), and the car is simply even more fun to drive than I remember!
Drove the 1.6 and the 1.8, and both cars seem fairly well sorted, the 1.6 starts to struggle at 65mph+..
So, looks like as soon as we can sell the Clio, she'll have one of these...
Want the 1.8iS Sport as it comes with the Blistien suspension kit as standard, and they are selling some pre-registered ones for only £16995...

The first one was traded in - the second one couldn't swim unfortunately, so drowned.
Its going to take a few months to sort it out Mark, just thought we'd take a look at the weekend for a laugh.
