Question

I'm still deliberating over whether to get a summer/track car and was wondering what the sport 160 was like...is it as reliable/driveable as a standard my00 elise?
What's a good Elise site please?

Seems to be the Mk1 to go for.... (though I like the look of the German Mk2 with 414bhp in Evo this month )

Farty, mate round the corner has one, if you are passing this way anytime soon I'm sure he let you have a go.

Ta Rich...will certainly be down in June mate, hope we can meet up then. I've driven 2 Elises and both have had fairly serious mechanical faults..my dealer (who do Lotus when they aren't selling me scoobs LOL) assures me I don't want one, which is refreshingly honest but a bit depressing.
Got a girly MR2 and another Caterham (bike engined) to drive this weekend

What you want is a MegaBlade Chuck (or a MegaBusa if you want to spend more money!). They are toptastic

If you have to get an Elise get the 111s, I found it just as quick as the 160 and it comes with the close ratio box, not all 160's had the close ratio box and this makes a lot of difference!!!
