How low will evo 6s go?
#1
Right heres a q for those who keep an eye on car prices.....
Ive noticed some q cheap evo6s being advertised,a nd fromt he looks of autotrader etc it seems like the higher priced ones just aint shifting. A decent example, can it appears , be picked up for around £16k.........just a year ago I recall that they were achieving £21k+
Im talking about the realistice selling price, cars like this are often advertised for months at the 'asking' price only to be sold months later for a few k cheaper....
so what im trying to guage is how low eill they go in say another years time......£11k ? Or £13k perhaps...if so I know what my next cars gonna be!

I reckon they'll continue to drop in price (in line with Jap prices) but settle at a dearer price than equivalent imprezas as the supply is lower and there are much lower numbers of 'UK cars'...

Was just thinking this the other day, they have devalued even quicker than my bugeye
/you seem to be able to get a good example, say 30k miles for £15/16 there was one down my road, admitedly white but it was mint and £15995
Autocar report this month that Evo 7s are cheaper than the more desireable evos ie the Tommi Maks, as evo 7s can be found for 18/19/20k whereas the limited editions seem to be holding onto the money a bit better.
All about supply and demand I guess, lots shipped over from Jap recently, hence high supply and probably little increase in demand in comparison anyway.
Another problem I reckon is that EVERYONE unless theyve been living in cave now knows that they cost a fortune to run and hence are put off.
Id still love one!
