- Compression ratio: 9.0:1
HP Rating 750 HP at 8,000 rpm
Peak torque 518 Ib.-ft. at 6,500 rpm
Transmission Four-wheel drive with programmable active differentials and six-speed Prodrive gearbox
Weight 2,090 Ibs.
O - 60 mph 2.3 seconds
Top speed 155 mph

I had some marketing blurb through the post the other day from Saab about the new 9-3 Sport saloon.
In the technical section, they're claiming 775 BHP as the output for the 2 litre 'cooking' model.
A misprint, I guess. Imagine the torque steer with that setup.

Er, I think not. It's 175 bhp (or 210 bhp for the Aero).
There are some 4WD Saab 9-3s (old style) pushing out 600bhp+ which are run by one of the older Swedish rally drivers (I forget which, probably one of the -ssons
)
