Yep 289 - about 4.8 litres. Auto shift.
Safety features involve no seat belts, no locking seat back-rests and a sharp edged interior. Oh and drum brakes all round.
It's great for cruising with the homies, but it doesn't understand corners or what the steering wheel was for.

I nearly bought a '65 Fastback (289 Auto) instead of the Scoob. In fact, I got a loan to buy the 'stang but ended up spending it on other stuff.
