A friend is looking to hire an Audi TT for her partner on his birthday. She has found one place, but they want £700 excess on the insurance. Do any of you guys know where she might hire one at a resonable price.

Hope you can help this damsel in distress. If you can't she will have to buy him a radio control TT. Not quite the same is it?

How much is the excess on your normal car insurance?

You may find that his birthday treat only puts "at risk" a couple of hundred quid.

It's the others that might hit him! A couple of hundred quid is a couple of hundred quid that could be spent on more fun than an insurance claim.
