Pug 106 forum/ opinions?
#1
Im looking into a pug Xsi 1.6 as another option as the Saxo VTR is proving hard to buy (lack of people willing to sell despite advertising theier cars forsale / dealers not bought the cars yet but advertise them anyway)
Any general opinion on the pug 106 1.6 - without wanting to start the Citroen vs Pug thing again - anyone had both/ know of any comparisons?

A friend of mine has a 106 gti, which is a great little car, almost keeps up with my 306 . I don't really know much about the xsis though. Have you tried autotrader?
I prefer the look of the 106s, but the interior in the saxo looks more mordern IMHO.

We have a pug 106 Rallye which is great fun....Phase 1 1.3L - revvy little bugger it is too (rev limiter is 7,800rpm).
Its funny - it may be up for sale in a few days item.
For a little hatch they handle really nice.

thanks for the link.
Im only considering it because its hard to find VTR's that are clean/ actually for sale.
The Xsi is meant to be similar to the VTR but as much to insure. Sadly no one will let me get a rallye - it was my original first choice until I realised it was insurance grp 9. I can only get quoted up to ins group 7 at the moment.
Thanks again,
Ben
