Effortless power. Put your foot down and it goes. not much lag as its a V6 TT Steering a little light and lacks feel (to me at least) and the brakes are quite sharp at first (get used to it though).
err..
Expensive to run, (parts labour etc) Interiors ok especially the alcantara seats. Bit too wide for my hips! Q Car appearence (debadge it and few non car types would now) There was recall on these for the manifolds I think and its an engine out job so you'll lose the car for a couple days if its not been done.
Anything specific you want to know?

Very nice car. The full torque is available at about 2000 revs which is what makes it so flexible. All you read is that it has a bad chassis in press reports but I was impressed by it's grip and smoothness.

Do a search for S4 and you should find some interesting threads.
Also, have a look here: http://www.rs246.com
They are easily modded up to around 320bhp and 370lb/ft, which should make them fairly rapid and they are very stealthy - great Q-car!
cheers,
Andy

Errr....there are 3 different types of S4
Current Model A4 with 4.2 V8 circa £40K+
Old model A4 (B5) 2.7 V6 Twin Turbo 98-2001 Model Years circa £13.5 upwards
Old A6/A8 with (I think) 4.0 V8 which would be on a N plate.

Prior to 98, the S4 was derived from the A6/100 and had a 2.2 20v Turbo engine putting out 230bhp (same as the 6-speed S2 Coupe).
The first A4 based S4 was the rightly quoted 265bhp model which appeared in the UK in 1998.
