A mate has just brought the above as an import from a dealer. Can any advise as to situation regarding warranties etc as the dealer has stated that there is no manufacturer's warranty!!! IS this right as I thought that it had to be honoured for an EU import ?

If the vehicle cam from a EEC member state then it MUST BY LAW have a 2 year warranty from the Manufacturer that will be honoured in the Uk,all vehicles bough from an EEC country since Jan03 have this warranty, however if it cam from Cyprus etc it has NO WARRANTY. Where did he buy it???

There have been Mitsi pickups imported from every RHD country in the world.
I.E 2.8 direct injection dsl from thailand made for jungle use only, no warranty at all.
Australia, new zealand, and several asian countries.
The Uk cars have 3 yrs 100,000 miles full warranty.
The euroimports have 60,000 miles drivetrain warranty BUT the service book must be filled in with the supplying dealer stamp from the country of origin and the owners details which happens very rarely.
