Hi there,

My Mum is going to buy a 2001 CLK 230 Kompressor Avantgarde with 13,000 miles on the clock. Anyone have experience or running owning one of these - problems/servicing etc. I took it for a spin and it's pretty nice - comfortable, reasonably quick etc.

Also, would you get it AA (or similar) checked, it's being bought from a private buyer and has a further year on its warranty.

Cheers

Richard

I ran a CLK430 and yes they are fast, reliable and comfortable. I think the 4 cyl engines are a bit rought compared to the v6's and v8's

Good value second hand, but I would deffo get it HPI'd and inspected...
