OK,I've seen my **** with MrsREV's Clio. It's going, no second chances.
So what can I replace it with that she might like and I won't mind driving when there's no fuel in the Scooby and a tankful in her car?
She currently has a Clio 1.6Si, so it's a luke-warm hatch with sporting pretensions. She's a bit lead-footed but not a particularly good driver so she wants something nippy but safe and reliable that doesn't cost loads to run.
Any suggestions? (I have loads but wanted some different opinions in case I missed somnething good!)

I have a Peugeot 306 XSI for sale if your interested. 1996 with under 35k miles. Immaculate condition. Electric Sunroof and windows, Keypad alarm and immobilisor, Alloys. Passive rear wheel steer makes for excellent handling.
E-mail me if your interested.

Bug-eye Fiesta 1.25
Yamaha engined funky little hatchback.
Why funky?
Cos every roundabout is an abject lesson in four wheel drifting and lift off oversteer. Its a go-kart with a roof on. Plus you can hop it off mini roundabouts!
Loadsa smiles per mile.
Bonus is it'll go for a fortnight on a tanks worth.
Spend the change on mods for the proper car!

Thats not a bad suggestion, she used to have a 1.3 Fiesta, the sad looking one before the bug-eye which she loved (why?). I've driven an older gen 1.25 Fiesta as well, that engine is a goer for such an ickle fing
