Just remembered I tried to buy one of these when I was 20 (insurance!!!!) - it was a dog boot looked nice and could have been tarted up. I wonder how they perform on road compared to "modern" supercars..

I've got a review in front of me from 'CAR' magazine, where the Pantera is rated worst ever sportscar. 'vicious handling' and 'rusted almost as quickly as it could get from 0-60' are two of my favourite quotes..LOL It just beat 70's vettes and the MGVR8 to last place.

I know where there are 2 beautiful examples in a garage, my mates gf's dad has them and restores them for a hobby, he drives them round to shows and such in Europe, nice looking cars, one purple and one yellow, the tyres are wider than my whole car!

Even if you`re ugly, you`d look good in this car IMHO
Always liked these things too. Sure one appeared in the "Likely Lads" or a similar series where the owner said he stopped at the lights and the girls jumped in. Think I could do with one too

Really like these, apparently the quality got better towards the production run which was around 15 years!
American V8 so the engine is pretty bullitproof and your local Ford dealership can service it so 1 up over the other Pasta Rockets.
I would have one, still fetch 15K minimum thou.
early ones look the best IMHO

Paul,
One of my cars runs a Ford 289 (stroked to 302) and with the best will in the world there is not a chance of it going anywhere a Ford dealership
I honestly don't think they would have a clue. Loads of people in UK who do though and tuning parts readily available.
Cheers
Robin
