Its a pity you didnt sell it a few years ago.prices where high..
It is going to depend on the current condition of the car. I would expect a buyer to have a car like this fully checked out by a specialist.
Good luck

The car is in A1 condition and I would not be bothered about an inspection, it really is immaculate!
I want the car to be worth 15 - 18K, to consider selling it..if not I'll guess I'll keep it. I just don't use it which is not that bad a thing!
If I posted this question on an Audi web site I know I'll get unrealistic prices, hence I stuck it here just to get a bit of independant advice!

Ah-ha, one for the Eighties performance car fanatics amongst us.
I'm gonna **** on your fireworks here mate, so...
The best example I've seen was a 36,000 Red '91 Full Leather car - totally original with FFSH - about two months ago...
Price - £12,000
The spares availability problem is now the Quattro's biggest bugbear - half the reason I ended up with the Merc, as its fully supported by the factory.
You're into real specialist collectors territory now, and a respray means it ain't original and therefore worth less.
I hazard a guess around the 10-11K mark.
If it never gets driven then it'll need money spending on it almost straight away as all the hoses and odds n sods let go.
The 20v were worth 18K about 3 years ago.

dominicm, if you don't need the money, keep it. You will definately not regret it. your car is still in the phase of losing valu its year. If you can keep it, it will soon start to gain value, especially if it is a low miler like yours. If you need the money, sell it now. advice from a monthly reader of classic cars and classic and sports cars magazines.
BTW, while we're at it. Can i have your digital dash cause i CAN'T find one??

RR prices are all over the shop. I can find two for sale atm, one with intersteller mileage and one not so.....
£7,950 for the 139,000k
£11,950 for the 80k
In a years time when my lease WRX goes back, Im putting some serious thought into getting another ur Quattro. I wouldn't place any model, unless it was zero mileage above £20k.
If you've still got it in a years time, and don't want £18k for it, let me know. However if you can afford to keep it, I would Superb car and easy to tune

Dont do it BUY my Immaculate Lancia EVO2 the car that kicked the Quatrros ***!!!!!!!!Only kidding LOL, seriously M8 Keep the Quattro unless you have to sell dont listen to any of the hype Parts are no problem with perhaps the exception of wings. everything is very easy to get a hold off. dont worry about the respray if it has been done by a quality outfit then it will not affect the value unless it was accident damage?. I owned one of these monsters and I truly enjoyed the car wherever it went it turned heads and can still do so to-day. The car that started the Revolution!!!!!!!!!!!!!

91 j were the last batch of UR quattros, the 20v was the last model, have seen a K reg but may of been registered late.
Read a article and some guy has a black and a silver one with barely any mileage!
UR was german for original i think?
cant beat the rasp of that 5 cylinder 20v, i loved mine!
as for price id say about 12k ish if it had FSH but would prefer original paint work.
Hey guys quattro is lower case q as Quattro was patend before audi got chance to, or am i just being ****?

The only thing that compares to the sound i hear everytime i fire up the 5-cyl engine is the scooby sound. Can't tell though which one i prefer. They are both very distinctive sounds. And when i rev the engine OMG! Now that i'm thinking of it, i have to change the valve seals, cause oil consumption is reaching 1970s Alfa Romeo standards.

Original and best IMO
My last one had a straight through pipe on, with the one box across the backend of the car. (i.e no centre box, and no cats).
Sounded ****'in awesome.
It was a flame spitting monster, but ever so nice to drive. Refined, but still the weapon of choice if I could have it or a Scooby.
I need another !!!!
As I say, if you've still got it in a year and looking to sell, let me know because it sounds like its worth a good look.

Dom i thought it did!
its been a long time since ive trolled through literature on the quattros!
im a real audi fan! i currently have A3 Tdi quattro sport, but i love diesel economy but im hankering after a petrol, maybe a S3, when i bought my A3 there was a black S3 there for the same money, my heart said S3 but head said Tdi
thinking of a bmw 320d sport as the driving experience is better and 50mpg.
S3....oh im so tempted!

UR-q's ? Yep I'd have another (if I had the money)
Great car, owned a WR engined 2144cc 10v none torsion diff'ed quattro of 1984 era. Loved it to bits, it certainly had charactor from the cheesey brown tweed seats to the fantastic vocal 5 pot growl.
I just loved its road presence and its flame spitting full chat gear changes, and did I mention that exhaust note to die for ?

Count me in for such a forum.
Yesterday at the Surrey meet, there were some Integrales(6-7) and one of the guys told me: Come and film some real cars. And i replied: you shouldn't tell that to me mate, i have a coupe quattro .
And about 30 mins later, when the Grales were leaving, one bloke with a yellow Grale told me: film the badge in the back, it says 6 world rally championships.
Six world rally championships my a*se! if it wasn't for the Audi Coupe Quattro, them italians would still be making crap spaggeti and thin pizzas. We all owe a BIG thank you to Mr. Piech

Interesting thread here......it's good to see that some people still know a good car................. I've just bought my second 20v ur after having tinkered with a porsche 911 and impreza. To be honest once the ur gets in your blood nothing else compares IMO.
As to a value for the 50000 miler.........how long is a piece of string.......book values matter very little................
AMCARS have a stock of approx 6-10 ur's of different engine configurations and mileages......from memory they have a low mileage 20v ur selling for 18-20000 pounds.
Do not make the same mistake as me and sell only to later regret it and hanker for one all over again...............

or you can get an S3 and have the RS2 engine fitted, so you will have your S(from S4 that is), she can have her 3 (from A3 that is) and you have your 20valves(from the RS2 engine that is). well sorted

This is turning in to a very interesting discusion! I am not a fan of the 'Grale, it did win a lot of rally's and it was one of the key performance cars of the last 2 decades....but have you ever driven one?
Firstly, I'll explain my interest in Rally cars. My cousin was the head mechanic for the Toyota rally team, he was also chief mechanic to Carlos Sainz who took me out a few times in the Celica WRC!
I have always wanted to want a 'Grale, I have test driven over 10 in the past 5 years! Each time I have come away dissapointed, it may be the left hand drive, I don't know but I cannot compare any of the 10 to a quattro, Evo, Scooby or even a GT4!
I'm such that I'm kicking a hornets nest in saying this, but IMO the 'Grale is not a great road car!
Take cover!
Dom.
PS - Thank you as the quattro is staying! I just need a RS4 to keep it company now!!
