You'll get a pushchair in ok,(it's tight) but being an MPV it's higher so it's easier to put your kiddie in, rather than reaching down to fasten them in.

was thinking that Dunk .
Are you talking about the a140 or the a170 (bit bigger i think) thing is will only have it for a few months while the misses decides wether to go back to work or not.
By the time the time the nipper is heavier we are hopping to get a new shape rav 4

Cool

Rav4 get's a really good write up.
I'd stick to that rather than the A-Class.

I had a chipped A170 for 18 months, did 50,000 miles and it never missed a beat. More than quick enough... bags and bags of grip and the handling surprises a lot of people (err, just ask ChrisB!). Brakes were astonishing.

Yep my mum has a A210 LTD Edition...

and its been crap since the first day she picked it up. its been off the road for over 4 weeks ....... in the first 2 and a half months !!!!!

And the dealer service is worse than the car.

Mercedes A Class = CR4P x 4 = Dealership

do ya self a favor and buy anything other than a merc

After working in MB customer services for 6-months, the 2nd most complained about thing after the sales men were the reliability of the a-class. make sure u got plenty of warrenty left! (3yrs from new standard)

If u have to by one, get the a210 (0-62 in 8.2sec), comes with evolution pack (17"alloys etc). only been out since feb, 21k new or 15k for a 6month old one with 5k on the clock. that includes leather, bose sound and tip auto. NOT BAD?

try MERCEDES-BENZ DIRECT (192)

thanks for the help folks
We arent paying for it anyway its just that as the phone in her mondeo comes with the job it was simpler giving it to the rep covering her area.
She is still very unhappy as she now wants to keep the mondeo and has been told by her boss its too late (have to agree with him on this one but i wouldnt tel the misses)
She is now extremely upset there is no CD player in the accord

In laws had an A190 and had problems with the suspension, it lost thousands. A pillar to big to see past, engine sounded nasty but was brisk ish and the handling was rubbish, no fun whatsover. on the up side, fairly practical and er thats about it !
