Didnt the 2cv have the record of being the slowest production car to reach 60 or something?
These are classic cars now, im not sure if there is a 2cv club in the uk but you may be better off trying to find if there is and advertising on there.
Nice cars in their day though
Tony

68bhp on a 2CV - in your dreams LMFAO!!!
My mum has owned a few, no more as she needs more comfort now. 602cc and gives about 29bhp and 28lb/ft. Max speed 71mph and 30 seconds to reach 60
Even the SMART with a 600cc Turbo only gets 45 and 55bhp on the standard models.

Have you seen the original design spec for them? I forget exactly, but something like "Must be able to carry two farmers across a ploughed field at X kph without spilling/breaking a basket of eggs inside".
Quite amazing vehicles really.

true story
Whilst in Iceland a few years ago on my mountain bike.... A guy took a standard 2CV and drove across Iceland. NOT AROUND IT...ACROSS it. This is very hard as there are no roads.
He Made it. I saw it on the local news there. These cars are fantastic.
But you wont get £3k!!!

I think it's worth every penny
and if i don't sell it , i will turbo charge the engine some time next yr, with t28 garrett and even if i make 110 bhp from this engine my power to weight would be alot better than the scoob and who would laugh then
and whip your scooby *** , oh yes a 2 cyl...... you lot seem to for get that my car only 400kg

What people have done with 2CVs is a science in itself. I had a friend with one.
Apparently there's one in existence where the owner put the body on back to front for a laugh. Can you imagine seeing it driving down a one-way street? Reality check needed!
And what are the engines that drop straight in them? Is it Nissan Micra, or am I thinking of the Robin Reliant here?

bwaaaahahahahahaa
A 2CV gearbox would not make it to 100mph, not designed for it so the gear ratios won't allow - still I suppose you have a different gearbox?
I do know of 1 2CV that had about 170bhp, and a 0-60 of about 6 seconds - that used to suprise some people

Turbo 2CVs are ace -- when Steve Cropley was editor of Car he had one, used to get the speedo off the end of the dial
It caught fire tho' -- it was one of the classic articles of the 80s, Escargot Flambe was the title
