well ive been hunting round for a couple of months for a cheap hot hatch to work on over the winter!

as i didnt want to track a expensive car again.

Found this golf gti 8v, 9 F reg in black.
135 k
big bumpers
5 spoke TSw alloys
mint condition for its age,
locally owned and iv known the owner who owned the car for the last 4 years.

should just do the job! off i go buying suspension, brakes etc.

just when i thought it had ended when i sold the scoob!

Lee, I have an almost idfentical 8v Golf GTI, in daily use until I get my Scoob, Chimera, Supra (insert latest flavour of the week) and then it will become a weekend/track day car, trouble is, spent all the cash on a people carrier !

Next year maybe....

Hiya mark you do seem to be fancying a few motors at the mo!

yeah the golf is great little car, im looking into converting the brakes to G60 spec 280mm, ive found the calipers and hubs etc. coil overs next when i can afford then the cage, should be ready for next season!

people carrier? more kids?

hi shunty! you like your golf then!

they go very well for a diesel!

i bought the A3 tdi quattro, cracking little car with good spec!
ive done 8000 miles since sept 1st and saved a fortune on fuel over my scoob, hence track car project!;D
