OK, it's not the exciting 300zx.. It's the slightly less exotic Citroen ZX volcane 8v.
Having just been quoted £370 (!!!!) for a Cat-Back replacement exhaust from a Citroen Main Dealer, I though I could do a bit better and possibly get a slight increase in power.. Nothing Max Power you understand!!!
Anyone know of any decent Performance/Stainless Steel replacement exhaust systems for the ZX?
Cheers

Bought one of these for my other half and pretty impressed with it. Handling is very good. Unfortunately the engine on hers is now not very well and is using a bit of oil now and is a bit sluggish.
As for tuning don't seem to be many places to go to for this car.

Look at what tuning parts there are for pugs as this car is basically a 309, the engines are shared due to Peugeot/Citroen being sister companies.
I take it the engine is the 8v 2ltr 123bhp one?

Try powerflow exhausts in st albans cat back stainless £275 unless you want something mad!! You get to choose what tailpipe you want how loud or quiet you want it and it has a lifetime guarentee.. Persuaded the missus to get one on her mk3 Golf convertable and she loves it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the input, I'll give the two places mentioned a ring and see what happens.
It is the 123bhp 8 valver.. I always thought it was essentially the same as a 306 under the (less pretty) skin.. Do enjoy it, have just got back from Shropshire - some great roads there, flowing, twisty, good surface, NO Gatso's and No cops (that I saw).. A488 toward Minsterly. Check it out!

ZX is really a mixture of 205/309 and 306 it was launched before the 306 - psa tend to try out stuff on Citroen first, eg Citroen Xsara shares bits with 307 etc, Xantia was launched prior to 406 but shares some bits...
No idea where to get the exhaust but a pug specialist can probably help - eg www.racepaceonline.co.uk
