Not sure if anyone has read the Top Gear article, but Clarkson said that while the Focus was really a pretty good car overall, he didn't like the 'B' road performance, saying kindly that it was 'hairy', and in honesty 'scary'.

The informal review ended saying it's great for the track, not so hot for 'B' roads. Well, Subaru originally catered for the country folk, so what do you expect

Probably just like the rest of us

I don't know many people who can sideways like Tiff N.

Yep, as long as the Scoob is the better car at the end of you’re thought

From what I have heard the RSF is faster than a standard Scoob on the track, but not good on our luvly british roads - extract from AutoCar: "On anything other than glass-smooth surfaces, the steering fight is borderline ridiculous, the wheel squirms in your hand as if some other being were in control of your destiny…unless you hold on really tightly, the nose hunts around all over the road, sniffing out the slightest changes in camber and texture."

Being pretty ham fisted, I'm probably better off in my Scoob rather than a track honed tool that would put me in the bushes on a B road.

Tiff may be an irritating moron on TV, but he's likely to be a better driver than most, and can probably extract everything out of the Ford. If Clarkson is a more inept driver, I probably identify with his driving more.
