Buy Mercedes direct from Factory in Germany - how?
#1
Don't know for sure but doubt you can 'buy directly from the factory' as such.
You can 'collect' it at the factory though and get a nice tur of the museum etc. although I wouldn't be surprised if this actually costs you somthing.
ie. With Porsche, there is an option that you can tick when you spec. a new car that they cal 'Tourist Delivery'. I believe that this 'option' includes the price of your flights and hotel accomodation to get you to Stuttgart!
Some Yanks even fly into Europe to pick up their Porsches and drive around for two weeks visiting their ancestors(like Chevy Chase, I suspect ) on temporary plates before driving to the port and leaving their new baby to be shipped over to them!

Hi All
I've got to change my 5dr Turbo for something more suitable for family life. I want an A190 but I want to purchase direct from the factory in Germany. Anyone have any contact numbers/emails/websites to do this?
Thanks

If u're interested in tourist sales, u can contact the Benz showroom in Green Park, London. They handle exclusively tourist delivery, & they can give u a price list in Euros.
If u buy that way, then u'll have to do all the paperwork urself once the car is back in the UK, as that service is intended for ppl who export their cars outside UK.
