Unhappy

Alarm keeps going off for no reason. Does anyone know whether there is something specific I should look for or failing that where the horn is that sounds so I can disconnect it and the neighbours can get some quiet (it's not the horn under the bonnet, sounds like its coming from the offside rear but I can't find it).

Check all of the switches on the door openers. The most common trigger is a dodgy connection on the switches that activate the interior light when opening the doors or boot

Don't forget the bonnet switch, that one used to cause problems on my sister's fiesta.

few alarms going off in work carpark the past few days - factory fit jobbies to connected to the horns. it appears that the heat affects the interior sensors.

thanks for all the replies - will do a thorough investigation at the w/e. The bonnet switch interests me as the only thing I've done differently prior to the problem was open the bonnet to refill the washers.

Much appreciated

As above, I'd check all the door switches first, failing that the horn, possibly horns, are in the boot, inside the rear panel. It might not run unplugged, deffo won't with it unbolted, it earths the fuel pump.
