Knowing how their sales staff at the dealerships operate I wouldn't trust that bunch as far as I can throw them. Reading the adverts they had in Autocar last week and them comparing the prices advertised to those on the site drew up the following conclusions, they didn't have available half the cars they featured in the print adverts, and the many of the new cars they did have, were not new, they were pre-registered and priced higher than advertised. Things like that are enough to make me steer clear.

Something else I noted was the similarity to another firm that appered a few months back (Fleet Discount Club). I looked at their printed advert in the Autocar and then on the website, and found the same thing. At the time I wrote an e-mail to the Autocar, saying what I had found on the website, and then asking who was behind this other company. Having seen similar adverts run by DC Cook in the past I questioned if they were behind the FDC or at least supplying their 'new' pre-registered cars. Looks like I might have been right, otherwise its one massive co-incidence.

I just had a look at the Fleet Discount Club website and the DC Cook website, they quote identical prices for the 206 CC and have identical formats apart from the peripheral colour schemes......

www.icsales.nl sell UK-spec Pug206CCs -- I'm thinking of getting one for the missus.

www.peugeot206cc.co.uk is a good source of info.
