Heard a rumour from someone that SEAT were going to surprise everyone and price the forthcoming 210bhp Leon Cupra R at £16,995 rather than the original predicted £18,500. Not been confirmed though. Would be a lot of car for the money, with some top spec kit on it. Mind you, after an RB5 it might be a bit tame.

Question

My RB5 is going up for sale(see for sale section)i fancy a change from Subaru - not sure what to replace it with, trying to keep to a budget of 16k max, maybe a hot hatch. Anyone got any suggestions/recommendations ?

Not judging by the one I test drove. Was fast but u really have to thrash the VTEC and it sounds so tinny. Nice car for the price except for the exterior stylings. Liked the recaro-esque seats.
