I'm desperately trying to find out about this also. I know that the SRi has traction control that you can't turn off which really makes getting out of bends quickly a nightmare. Bags of torgue but it stops you getting it down. Hopefully the GSi will have the ability to turn this off and then I think it will be worth watching with its 190bhp.
