Anyone have experience of the stereo in the current model

Looking to do a usb stick for in-laws car

Is there a limit on the size of memory it will see and do they have a hard drive ?

 

Don't have any experience with Porsche but my general rule was 32Gb max as it the limit due to file system for older cars, however i do know the newer BMW head units can take 64gb upwards but tend to lag a little when the Stereo reads the file system to catalogue.

To be honest 16 or 32 should be enough for most

As for the Hard drive question it was mainly for the High end units like MB Command or BMWs Pro series when the Hdisk comes into play, you should be able to tell if you have a quick look if it has one....but i don't know for Porsche..sorry
