So i fly out to Orlando with work bummer eh, stayed there a week in 100 degrees then flew home Friday. Landed at Manchester and got my little mini from Meet and greet and proceeded up the M62 to leeds, halfway down and just before it splits into 4 lanes to climb to saddleworth on flies a brand new Golf R i mean flies he guns it up outside and i thought cant be arsed... anyway cars holding him back halfway up hill and its trying like hell to get past, so i thought lets see if hes quick. i pull up behind him ( safe distance ) and then the car in front pulls in, i see him look in mirror and floor it and guess what, i was pushing him up the hill.....

Well ok not pushing him but absolutely nothing in it to legal speed limit .... well chuffed lol
As we neared the top i pulled in as id been up 24hours and let him go, but considering I'm 231 BHP and hes 300 my power to weight must have played a part, hes 1500kg I'm 1250kg....i do know my midrange is very good but i was pleasantly surprised....


from a standing start id have been owned, that's a given.


So today I'm going to pick wifes new clubman up and ask about the 300BHP Mini and swap it when it comes out


on another note after 4 years the clubmans worth 14900, my A45 was worth 17900 after 4 big loss that when you look at it against a Mini...


13k loss Vs 27K or that normal for higher end cars ?
