I like it too.
Love the new MX5 as well.
Rather like the Audi QSRS (about the only one I like)
Always liked the Jimny; ours was ace.
Our Outback in deeply uncool but it's being so damned useful, it's really got under our skin.
Mazda CX5; something about it appeals.
LR Defender; ours was a PITA, they're slow, dreadful on fuel and noisy but there's still something about them.

Blob WRX SL wagon...

The words 'sunroof', 'leather' and 'estate' in theory shouldn't make a good Impreza but there isn't another Scooby I'd rather have ATM!

Prefacelift K10 Nissan Micras. Had two in the past. Sewing machine engines. Poo brown interiors. Bacofoil panels. Totally in love with them!

old style celica for me... the st162 / 165 range:

Had one as an 18-19 year old, and it was bloody brilliant, apart from the fact it broke down all the time, had massive rust issues etc etc... Oh and for some reason I've only ever seen ONE in england, and I think that got scrapped in the end too.

If I could find another one and had the space, I'd get it just to look at it and reminiscence about my younger days

I like the Porsche too I also like the old Fiat X19 and TR7 obviously watched too many Bond movies as a child I used to love all the old Triumphs, Stag, Dolomite sprint and Spitfires and the little convertable one that the name escapes me, a bloke I used to work with had one and let me drive it when I was 17, shouting at me for crunching the gears because you had to double de clutch to change, how the **** was I supposed to know.

106 GTi, had one when I first passed my test and even now when I see one, I get excited mad really as back then they where one of the quickest hot hatches on the road, now it would struggle against a diesel fiesta.

+1

Had two 106's when I was younger. A little 1.1 (first car, don't laugh!) and then a Rallye. A mate had a GTI and I spent more time driving it than he did

Fiesta Zetec on a 51-plate in Blue with black wheels, tinted windows, full de-cat exhaust system, k&n filter, coilovers, recaro seats, 4-point harnesses, rollcage...

Thought Id have a look at some of the 106 GTi's for sale, god there are some terrible modified ones on E-bay and Gumtree, Im really considering buying another(has to be standard and looked after), but not sure if maybe I should leave them as good memories instead of trying to re-live my youth!!

I have always fancied a Rover 200 "Tomcat," that or a Honda CRX Del Sol.

Apart from the already mentioned Porsche Cayenne & 928, the MX5 and the Audi TT
Jeep Wrangler something about them, especially in 4 door form
And the Hummer H1 but a military one

It's true what they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have always had a strange love for the jaguar xj220, and the metro 6r4. Do I need help?

Yeah I always take time every few months to hunt around for another. I think I've got to the age where driving a little hatchback like a 106 would look a bit daft. However, track-building one is another thing...

This is what im worried about, Im 32 and going back to a car I had when I was 19/20, I might feel/look a bit like a chav but im thinking something thats completely standard and tidying it up. my head says "dont bother" but my heart says "go with it"

My similar Saxo VTR, even with a lowly 90bhp was a hoot to drive too.

Kia Picanto.

Bear with me here, its because of its pure mechanical simplicity in a age where even basic cars are needlessly over-complicated. Its basically a 1980s Nissan Micra underneath, so its a joy to work on.
