Total re design from the FN2 I believe , EP 3 had independent but was still sloppy
I payed 17k for the EP3 in 2002 at launch & 18.5k at 2004 facelift
This is goin to cost around 25-27k
On the plus it's goin Turbo & have a bomb proof engine
Down side , It won't be running power to match its aggression

despite what mass media claims they have had failures anyway, although rare

But on another note .....loving the pics of your car parts all over the kitchen & house
Old school.............'proper job' as Guy Martin would say.
Some very,very nice parts there.
Have you fitted it all & what spec is your car now?

My project
Still haven't got the parts fitted yet, the kitchen is like a garage, driving the mrs crazy. More than likely get bits fitted in new year now. Cheers

Keeping the Integra over 6,000 rpm was no harder than keeping the Scoob on boost as a) the Integra was very low geared b) had a fantastic gearbox and shift, and c) it felt less stressed and smoother at 7000rpm than the Scoob was at anything over 3,000 rpm.
It was just a simple re-education process that it was happy as a pig in **** at RPM that would have most cars going bang.
The new concept looks good though. Hopefully it will still be high revving but with the turbo to supplement the mid range - best of all worlds.

The FN2 rear suspension beam was just Clarkson bollocks. It didn't make it a worse car than the EP3, it was just a different development direction.
The Megane RS has (or at least had?) a rear torsion beam and it's coined as the best hot hatch on the market.
Hint, what do most people with IRS do? That's right - fit a great big fat anti roll bar at the back
A Post 2010 FN2 with the LSD was a fine, fine car. Really would consider another one - but this new 2015 one is looking tempting.
