I still don't get this rev the **** off issue having had a DC2 Integra right after a MY99 Classic turbo.
Keeping the Integra over 6,000 rpm was no harder than keeping the Scoob on boost as a) the Integra was very low geared b) had a fantastic gearbox and shift, and c) it felt less stressed and smoother at 7000rpm than the Scoob was at anything over 3,000 rpm.
It was just a simple re-education process that it was happy as a pig in **** at RPM that would have most cars going bang.

Yep they are beams.
Its French shyte thats Torsion springs at the back....and the front suspension of old Shoguns, L200s and Toyota Hi-aces (and Jag E-types).
And its AWD Audis that have a TORSEN diff
But yeah.. beam axle at the back actually makes FWD cars more tail happy. Independent rear with McPherson strut front isn't always better for handling balance.
Thats why the 'Teg and old Accord had double wishbone FRONT. Only FWD cars with this type of front suspension need to have multi-link on the rear. McPherson is the work of the devil....(IMO of course )

I wish Honda would show us pictures of the actual car you are going to be able to buy rather than keep referring to it as a "concept" car. Makes me wonder if the real car is going to have a rather watered down look.
Hopefully, they will have something really special and this will cause the competition to produce even faster cars in response.

They were the same in the run up to the FN2, I was close to preordering one off of the released pictures and the concept car. I was glad I didn't when I saw the actual car though. Not a fan tbh.

With a lack of "real" pictures I fear it may well be a case of deja vu...........

Total re design from the FN2 I believe , EP 3 had independent but was still sloppy
I payed 17k for the EP3 in 2002 at launch & 18.5k at 2004 facelift
This is goin to cost around 25-27k
On the plus it's goin Turbo & have a bomb proof engine
Down side , It won't be running power to match its aggression

awful car, lack of torque made it impossible to use for me.

Or you are deluded. Owned an FN2 and any more than myself in the car and it was sloooow. Off the lights hard to put power down as 5000+ rpm needed so easily beaten by tdi golfs etc. My current Focus RS puts the power down a lot better. Even Motorway driving in the CTR you have to drop a gear to overtake at any pace.
