Waiting is painful. I've got the same wheels as you but in silver. I'm not usually a fan of black wheels but am thinking about having them 'painted black'

I'm also looking forward to some pictures and a wee writeup.
I saw a lovely C63 last week in Mercedes Belfast when my wife collected her new A200.

Looking forward to seeing it too; still not seen one!

I can't believe how long you've had to wait; mine was five weeks from order day and that was with Christmas and NY in the middle!

to be honest Matt I prob should have rung round, but it helped me save 3K...

5 weeks is good, Audi or golf was 16 weeks.

I aint seen one yet either, considering there are 365 in the Uk somewhere

Is that all?! No wonder I haven't seen one; plenty of wannabee versions though, usually tarted up 220CDIs with AMG bodykit.

A fair few of mine around (although I've only seen half a dozen) but our California model is one of 181 in the UK; sort of rare!

I've noticed that rather like the M135i, some of the motoring press have already got bored of the A45 and moved onto the Golf R as their latest hot hatch darling. Such a fickle bunch!!

Christ, I'm feeling excited for you too!

Epic day; make sure you enjoy it!

Check it over VERY carefully though, especially the paint finish, just in case.

And have fun! Is there a run in period/mileage?

That looks good in red see you have gone for the aero package, nice.

I know we spoke about them earlier in the year and you put me onto the Leeds garage, I've decided against one, as I personally found the ride a bit too harsh, and got offered a better deal by Audi.
Do like those wheels on it - hope you enjoy it

best thing of all is, I added aero later and because of that, the cars seem to hold the residual, hence my payments per month have come down a massive 30 quid. WOW well chuffed.

cant have it till tomorrow afternoon, this wait is gonna kill me..

It's a marmite thing is that wing, but adding it keeps the selling price higher

A couple pages of them on autotrader for sale with a few thousand miles second hand. It would seem that a few have changed their mind and subsequently you can get one for 35k.

At that sort of money there coming my way so would consider going to have a look. It does seem to have it all,4 doors, 4wd, good mpg, a turbo to tune and good looks.

i like these cars, but i couldn't live with its looks. The one i test drove a few months ago was no way as good as the new STi when pushing it hard into the corners either imo.

I would have thought that it's a bit understeery with a lot of electronic aids.

I think the looks are ok, going of secondhand ones that are for sale the aero pack doesn't seem to hold its value as the op suggested so would keep it a bit more merc than focus RS looking.

Don't think it will be long till you can pick one up for less than the new Sti whether new or used. But on the other hand, aftermarket seems to be a bit expensive so wont be long till one of John's 400bhp Sti passes you.
