Range Rover Sport
Looking to get rid of my scoob after 7 years of very enjoyable ownership will be sad to see her go but needs must now as I have a 3 month old daughter.
Now need something with more space and have been looking at RR sports, not sure if to go for the v6 or the v8 there seems to be very conflicting views on both engines on the net which is adding to my confusion!
Has anyone got/ had a RRS or know anyone with one, just want to know the pros, cons, good, bad points and what to look for when going to view the different models of each to help make my decision a bit more easy.
Would be looking at a budget of around 25k could possibly push to 30k but that is right on the limit. Need to keep some cash for the day to day running and maintenance.
Thanks in advance for help / info

For 25k I'd go for a face lift 3.0 v6, not too dissimilar performance to the TDV8 with better economy.
I sold my sport last year, ran it for two years and it only suffered from a few problems, mainly suspension knocking which is the most common fault.
A decent warranty is essential as these cars can cost a small fortune to run.
From memory the official LR extended warranties are a smidgen over £100 a month.
Mpg was around 27 and VED around £475.
Avoid 22" wheels as there are a lot of copies out there and they play havoc with the suspension, I've read about warranty claims being rejected due to this.

Plenty of info on there, not all good I might add.
