I bought Autotrader at the weekend and saw an advert in by Well Lane Turbo centre in Batley, West Yorkshire. It said Granada Men & Motors were going to be there and if you fancied it to bring your own car along if you have something interesting.
I just wondered if anyone was going to go and put there scoob on the rollers?
Damian.

Did you see the program on Friday at 10pm?
It's on every week now for 13 weeks and I should be on in about 3 weeks.
My car is also in the end titles (well, the wheels are - on the rollers)
There was another white scoob on on Friday doing 1/4 miles, anyone know who it was?
I'd love to go this weekend and see what difference my HKS headers have given but I'm away unfortunately
Never mind. Might see if my Bro is up for it though!

Never seen it... is it popular??
Dont have time to watch TV, let alone Sky (is that whats its called these days?)
RW's should get about 10bhp less with the HKS headers - i.e. about 8bhp (yes 18bhp-10bhp)........

Hey, Steve,
I'm telling you there is definately a gain. I can feel it.
There's also a great change in the noise. Car sounds more like a Kawasaki now than a Subaru. Very quiet cruising, no burble, just raucous noise on full throttle.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I'm knocking on the door of 340bhp now!!
We'll see in a couple of weeks!

340bhp - yahhh think so... hmmmmmmm... If I didnt know that you could possibly speak to Well Lane I'd have money on that claim.. Then again you'd probably be running at 1.7 bar of boost to ensure it happended - so I wont....
The only way to know is to do a swap on cars for a while - then you'll know what a fast car feels like...... (and you'll get the proper tuning bug - i.e. buy yerself a proper ECU replacment..)
thats if you can be bothered waiting for the turbo to spool up... you might have to wait some time... by which point Grandma with a Zimma frame has got ahead of you on the pavement....
