hi all im new to scoobys so plz be patient with me, iv just got a 1995 wrx turbo wagon, it runs mint but theres just a few small things i need help/advice on, the hanbrake light is on on the dash all the time what might becausing this, handbrake works fine just the lights on, my scoobys a jap import and the speedos a kph 1, can i buy a new mph facia and just fit it or will i have to have anything else done, other than this my new toys a great bit of kit, all help/advise appreciated, cheers, Adi.

 

Hi, welcome to Scoobynet - I'd try putting your questions in one of the technical forums, you've probably got more chance of getting a response as it's quite specific Hope you get it sorted

 

adi, the hand brake light could be the switch on the hand brake or have you checked your brake fluid it could be low, it doubles as a warning light.
the mph conversion, you need a converter to sit in between your speedo cable where it splits near the cat/gearbox, then just put a sticker over the kph with mph.

thanks guys, il do that in the future putting things in the technical part iv got to get the hang of posting stuff on forums, and the k on the kph has been coverd already so il run it through the speed warning camera down the road to check it if not il have a look in 4 weeks when i get my pot off (broken ankle), thanks again
