DALES RUN 4 - GREAT DAY
#1
Many thanks to Graham & Heather for organising a superb run.
Lots of variety, (and wildlife!) with the weather improving all day there were conditions to suit everyone.
We ended up taking a 14 mile de-tour (totally planned honest!) to get some fuel for the UK STI & Terzo
With good food and a chinwag at the end, look forward to the next one!
Steve_F & the Pit Crew.

Aye, good meet Turns out the old Rover just cant hack it as its got no where enough grunt to overtake like the Soobys so it got left waaayyy behind
Got caught up with a huge number of Lotus's out for a blast and tagged on with them for the ride!! They were a lot easier to keep up with than you Scooby boys LOL
Certainly provided a good mornings entertainment, top job. Whens the next one?

Big thanks to all who attended, we really enjoyed ourselves even if the weather was a little damp Still seemed everyone enjoyed themselves. Certainly gives you a taste for more scooby(&evo) events. Even Bob.T turned up for a chat.......which was nice

Good to see most of you had a nice time; it's a damn shame I couldn't make it
Never mind, at least I got to clean all the winter gunk off the alloys.
On a related note, where would you guys reckon is my best bet to get a Bridgeston REO-11 tomorrow (in/around Lancashire) ? Everywhere I tried today was shut and the spacesaver is, quite frankly, embarrasing

Fabulous run out, thoughly enjoyed it, even if my heart was in my mouth a couple of times!!
As always great company, and good choice of pub at the end (highly recommend the steak sandwich ).
See you all at the next meet!

Graham & Heather,
Great route, the weather could have been little better, But never the less really enjoyed it.
The one thing I did NOT enjoy was Yvonne telling me to stop hitting her head on the roof !!!!!! but there again the last one shut her up for a while !!!!!!!! I now got a big head sized bulge in my roof )
I think for the next one we need some full harnesses and some marked maps )and a navigator course for her
It brought back memories of the 1980's and Motoring News championship road rally's. oooooooooerrrrrrrrrrrr Buttertubs Pass....still awesome or is it my age ?????
Thanks again for making us Evo guys welcome even though you did send us out to clean the gravel first

Cheers Graham & Heather - this was the first properly organised day I have been on, has certainly given me a few tips for us Lincolnshire boys. Thankyou too for settling in my Eibachs Dickon.
Great day-will certainly try and get to the next one.

Jac2000, You certainly have some cracking roads(B1200), (A631)where you live my old snot gobbler!!
My sweet papa has a caravan at North Somercotes. One question, I went to Louth in search of SUL and had to fill up with 95RON at some garage on a corner on the way into Town, where is it for sale around there?
