no claims bonus
hi guys and gals, i currently have over ten years no claims on my family ford focus,if i purchase a scoob but keep the focus will i have to start fresh with my no claims on the scoob
Yes, on a normal policy. If you insure 2 cars with one company, they can offer a massive discount on the lower risk. In my case 70% for the first year. Then after 1 yr they gave me 3 years discount and the next year allowed me to protect it. Bob
cant get much lower for the focus £180 for me and wife and over £1000 with no ,no claims for a scoob without my wife. they wont match my no claims cos my wife can drive the focus while im driving the scoob. i think i will need to transfer my no claims over to the scoob and let my wife start a new policy with me as a named driver on the focus that way it will only be about £700 for both which is still steep i think.
