Highly recommend speaking to Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels Insurance, he has helped me saved hundreds in the past

Alternatively Greenlight or A-Plan offer relatively competitive prices.

As for Security, i have always been a fan of Toad alarms, but its down to what you need it to do, and your budget i guess.

The more quotes the better matey... play them off against each other for even bigger discounts, lol!

Me personally, i dont have any visual deterrants, it takes literally seconds for a professional car thief to remove one, if they want the car, they will try regardless of whether it has one or not. The alarm/immobilisor/tracker is whats going to save your car.

If it isnt a professional, and they cant get past the steering lock you are still paying for a new window/radio etc either way so you dont gain anything.

Just my opinion, but its each to their own

+1 for moley wrx. i got a quote off him £400 cheaper than anyone else, only thing that stopped me was by the time i paid my cancellation fee £165, and had to start my 4th yr ncb again i may as well have waited the 4 months for my 5yr ncb to kick in.i will be going straight to him come june. btw get a steering lock! its only £50, just make sure you clean the sucker mark from sat nav off the windscreen, dont leave designer sunglasses in the car etc. it does act as a deterrent. car-jacking is the latest crime fad so lock doors when stationary etc. and always leave enough distance to get round car in front in emergency

Another vote for KM

on the security note - any visual deterent is better then none but most opt for decent alarm + imob / decent tracker/ anti hijack thingy and a decent stearing lock if they want it they will take it but at least is narrows the chances down from most *******

Edit - Aplan and Keith michaels always do battle both give great quotes as the post below also they cover mods at no extra cost
