the problem is he sold me a turbo telling me it was a genuine td05 20g recently being refurbed at Turbo Dynamics.

He sent me the turbo saying if there was any problem he would stand over it and now i have got it he hasnt been online since and wont answer emails or pm's.

so basically he has stroked me for £515 and i want my money back.

is it a td05 20G turbo that he has supplied?

if he has said it was a td05 20g and he supplied one then i dont see what the problem is.

Why what is not genuine about it?

I've just had a quick butchers at Jawarehouse its a seller om Fleabay, i dont see what the problem is, he sold you a TD05 20G turbo and thats what he supplied, Jawarhouse seems to have a good feedback rating so they cant be that crap - but i dont know the full story. instead of calling him a thieving so and so give a more detailed explanation.

*I'm sure this can be sorted out amicabally without a load of name calling

If it's made out of metal then it's genuine if it is made out of plastic or somthing else, I'd say it was a replica

Did he say it was a genuine MHI TD05 20g? or just a genuine TD05 20G.

I take it that you were after a TD05/6 20G and it's just a 5?. Thats your fault at the end of the day matem you should have done more research before you bought it. Why don't you just sell it on ebay as what it is with a reserve??

have you fitted the turbo and found a problem with it
i think this is what fwdnutz was referring too .

there is a lot of eyewash talked on these kind of forums about whats hot and whats not,
i've bought a JAwarehouse turbo and i'm fitting it, some tuners have found there products work ok, but perhaps they had no reason tobe biased in the first place

i think you should either fit it , or resell it !
the fact that you don't like what you have bought is your problem, more research next time may help
shame i've just got a turbo, i would have been interested in it

I thinnk if your not happy with it is just to sell it on Ebay - you'd sell it no problem

Yeah Paypal normally sorts out any problems if your right you will win if your wrong then its tough sh-it and get over it and learn from your mistakes

I sold my first car as sold as seen - the new owner came back to me 2 months on asking for his money back saying it had been in a smash - I told him to he should of done his HPI crap before he bought it - mind you the car was only worth £400

because i received the goods apparently there is no dispute.
Got it sold on anyway the piece of ****. and at least i was honest in the advert and answered all questions honestly. didnt come back to the purchaser after the transaction (2 weeks later) telling them i have big tough friends haha sado. tried to sort out amicably but fwdnutz is just obviously not a man of his word.

all sorted now i got it sold on, even if there was a £50 loss, rather than put a "genuine" fake turbo on my car.

Think people should just be honest and up front when selling things. Its different when buying something off here to buying a car. I couldnt exactly fly to england to view the turbo. had to take him at his word, which in my mind is worthless now.

so if anyone is buying anything in future off the "man" i would advise against it as he is obvioulsy the dumbest subaru owner (he said he thought it was original as thats how he was sold it YEAH RIGHT) or just a con artist.

thanks
Jamie

hello jamie
considering the turbo (in your words) was a piece of ****, someone was STILL willing to pay over £450 for it
puzzling
was there any need for the personal insults and derogatory remarks about fwdnutz !!!!!!!!!!!
be carefull you don't get infracted reading some of your posts, you could edit the last one at least

Why your getting is such a tizz i dont know, Paypal decided that you had no case to answer why? because you had no case to answer.

I dont see why you are coming out with nasty comments (which you are)
towards fwdnutz, he sold you a TD05 and thats what you got - what is a genuine one by the way? if you wanted a Mitsubishi TD05 then really you should have asked if it was made by Mitsubishi.

Thing is like 51st state said if it were that crap how come you managed to off load it to someone for 450 quid - shame on you have you not got a conscience selling someone a 'non genuine' TD05? no you sold it and someone bought it.

If it was that bad then you wouldn't have passed it on to some other poor unsuspecting mug er i mean buyer.

you sold it so not such a loss.

The truth is you jumped in and bought it without checking your facts.
But dont come on here and start slagging fwdnutz off saying he is a con man because i can tell you he aint by any stretch of the imagination.

let this one go and just admit you were possibly wrong on this occasion and learn from it.

over and out
