So now that the Micklehead has re-opened as a Beefeater, are we going to have a meet there

Thursday 8th November is the 2nd thursday of the month

Be warned though, if you make Donna laugh too much and she goes into labour, then be it on your own head

I can't make this one, I'm afraid. My mum's coming over from Tenerife for the week and I doubt she'll want to spend her first night hanging round a Beefeater carpark

 

I am wondering whether we should sample the food there now it is a beefeater

 

I most certainly will be sampling the food there soon. I sampled beefeater food at the refurbed Morris Dancers (Scarisbrick) a month or two ago and for the price, it was splendiferous... I had beef that came from a bovine. Mrs Abdabz to be had cod that came from a fish.
I was relieved that our waitress wasn't hairy

 

Its not looking too good for a meet now though, with only Donna & me

Its looking more and more like we will end up using the time to get a bit of shopping done, instead of sampling the fresh beer and food

Has everyone gone into hiding now or something

 

sorry mate this time of year is manic for me im working silly hours to get all my jobs done if i get finnish in time i will call if anyones going as its just round the corner from where i work
