Micklehead meet thursday 11th October
Are we having one
Is the Micklehead open again or are they still refurbishing it ?
Who knows, stay tuned to find out
I will have a look tomorrow to see if/when it is back open, but if not any suggestions (Walton Arms perhaps) instead?

Hurrah, hopefully as a Beefeater the food will improve The Morris Dancers going into Southport was recently done up Beefeater stylee and is very nice...
The Micklehead was known for its, warm expensive beer and cheap cold food... Would be nice for them to get them the right way round this time
I would love to come but I dont own a scooby and dont live in Tellins anymore
Enjoy

Sure I voted Waterside as soon as Sonic posted ... but it's gone!
Walton arms if you want, not sure when I'll be there, after 9pm anyway, more like 9:30. PLEASE STAY!!!!

The St Helens meet becomes the ar$e end of Runcorn meet instead The Waterside is a special place and even though I am not going, it gets my vote
On Cup Final dat in 1996, me and a friend had our drinks spiked in there by two bin dippers who were jealous of our splendid victory. My friend had running races with imaginary sprinters, while I was taken home to stroke an imaginary dog in the kitchen much to my mums horror. We often returned hoping to see them again so we could "thank" them for their free drugs, but alas never had that chance
Also, I was banned from the waterside once for refusing to leave my unfinished beer at closing time. A friend of mine once got barred for smashing up the loos too I used to take all my first dates there when I was a teenager and then after a few drinks, drive over the dam for a smoke and a bit of
The Walton Arms on the other hand, is somewhere I used to go for xmas lunches when I worked at O2 in PB...
It just doesnt have the same jerr nerr say parr as The Waterside

I'm on running around duties until after 9 tonight, so unlikely to make it all the way over to the Walton Arms.
In return, I WILL make it to the newly opened Micklehead next month!
