Your best bet is the tunnels under Manchester Airport, here: manchester airport uk - Google Maps
which is the a538 off the m56. Be careful around there though, as there are armed police on patrol all the time, and they don't take kindly to boy racers giving it beans through the tunnels

Picture I took a while ago:

From the drive I organised many many months ago:

YouTube - Subaru in a tunnel

19 of us went through that night.

And that's not me driving!

There's definately no speed cameras in there.

As CW mentioned, just the occasional Land Rover Discovery with two 6'9" coppers and a pair of large machine guns to watch out for.

Or sometimes the local plod will sit inbetween the two tunnels on the crash gate emergency access road and eat their donuts and spill their coffee when a plane takes off.

Went through those 2 tunnel tonight. First time just had the front windows down and dropped it in to 4th for a little bit of extra noise. Second time had all 4 windows down and in to 3rd, much better sound and had a silly grin on my face afterwards too.

Be careful in those tunnels as you do get local plod (not the airport plod )awaiting speeding motorists, generally the local rich and arrogant Porsche drivers. Best doing a couple of dry runs first before gunning it.
Last time I went through I ended up doing about 10 runs
