We had a look into the Hopgrove yesterday , Nice place , Has a good menu , For snacks , And they sell Low alcohol beers , >> see U there.

 

I'd love to come along, but I'm not home until around the 19th.

I'm not ducking out but my car is now going in to RE motorsport on that day to check out the rubbing noise around my offside front wheel - but I'm not sure what the problem is? Hopefully won't be anything serious and the scoob will be ready and able to trundle along to the Hopgrove

Depending where you are coming from, but if you look on a map, follow the A64 from the A1. Keep going past the turnings for York until you get to a roundabout. Take the first exit and stay in the left hand lane and you will come to another (smaller) roundabout. Take the first turning again, onto what is called the Malton Road (although you are in fact going back in to York). Follow this road for 200yds and on the left you will see a large public house - that is the Hopgrove.

Let us know if you are coming from somewhere else and someone should be able to direct you.

Will the Hopgrove be able to squeeze us all in? Would it be a good idea to ring them and let them know we are coming?
There are houses just across the road so, no revving of engines please as this may jeopardise future meets if this one is a success. It looks like it may well be.
