York Scoobs Meet Up.
Do any other Scoob owners fancy a mini meet , I know it will be on a small scale , >> But on Sunday we had a mini convoy to the NBO , It was good for us , I dont think York will ever be a big meet BUT who cares, >> So who is up for it , And ideas , nights , > Late afternoons (weekends) Places to meet ect ?? >> I think The Hopgrove would be good , Large carpark , Food ect, >> Not that we would need a large carpark
So names please , Lets aim for Monday 9th July at the Hopgove 7pm. If there is any intresed, cheers Alan.

I'd love to come along, but I'm not home until around the 19th.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT...........I'm going straight down to Coventry on the 20th or 21st, to pick up my Crystal Grey machine, so I'l be at any meet after that if I'm home!!

Alan,
I'm not ducking out but my car is now going in to RE motorsport on that day to check out the rubbing noise around my offside front wheel - but I'm not sure what the problem is?
Hopefully won't be anything serious and the scoob will be ready and able to trundle along to the Hopgrove

Yes.. the new member that Ant and I found last night is going to come, also there are some of the NICCS attending and I see last night it was posted on the WYIOC board so there may be more to come yet Alan
Depending where you are coming from,
but if you look on a map, follow the A64 from the A1. Keep going past the turnings for York until you get to a roundabout. Take the first exit and stay in the left hand lane and you will come to another (smaller) roundabout. Take the first turning again, onto what is called the Malton Road (although you are in fact going back in to York). Follow this road for 200yds and on the left you will see a large public house - that is the Hopgrove.
Let us know if you are coming from somewhere else and someone should be able to direct you.

Would it be a good idea to ring them and let them know we are coming?
There are houses just across the road so, no revving of engines please as this may jeopardise future meets if this one is a success. It looks like it may well be.
Ant

Anyone going with a pre 96 classic???
